I started working at OSU in summer 2024 but bring nearly 10 years of advising experience from universities around the country including Kent State, University of Northern Colorado, University of Arizona, University of Oregon, and University of Maryland Global Campus.

I’m drawn to working with UESP students because I too was an explorer. I started out college in a major that wasn’t a fit with my interests, strengths, and values, then bounced around to a handful of other majors before finally gravitating toward something that I truly enjoyed and was good at. Looking back, I wish I had had an advisor to guide me along that journey, which is why I find working with UESP students so meaningful.

My educational background includes a BA in Spanish from that rival green and yellow school down the road (I know, boo!), a Master’s in Teaching from George Fox University, and a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, learning languages, watching sports and movies, and being out in nature. Having grown up in Oregon, I’m happy to be back home here at OSU!
